Due to safety regulations and new manufatures standards it's common to see the first body mount behind the front tire on Toyota's the limiting factor for running larger tires.
It's been common practice since 2003 to cut these mounts back to clear larger tires. We take it a step further and re-cap the cut off piece with a welded in piece of metal. We then take our time cleaning up the area and re-paint everything with black spray paint to give it an almost factory look.
The body mount chop (BMC) is no garuntee to not still rub, rubbing with larger tires is caused by many factors, this just helps eliminate one of those factors. Addtionaly trimming of plastic may be nessecary. A proper alignment is also recommend.
